Apartments for Rent
Woodbine Community Organization provides rental properties for low- to moderate income families.
Under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program WCO purchased Belmont Apartments. These 42 single units are for tenants earning 50% or below the Area Median Income (AMI). For a family of one, that income would mean an income of $22,850 and below.

Another program, the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, encourages developers to construct high-quality housing at more affordable rents than comparable properties in the area. This program is administered through the Tennessee Housing and Development Agency with middle-income families in mind. This program works in two ways:
1) The rental rate for each unit is calculated as a percentage of the average income of people living in the geographical area of the property. This calculation includes an allowance for the cost of utilities.
2) Income limits are set for renters. Under the affordable housing program, the maximum allowable income is based on the total number of people to occupy the apartment, and the combined gross income of all persons to occupy that unit. For LIHTC properties, the income limit is 60% AMI or $38,880 for a family of four.
All applicants will have to verify income, assets, and family size. These factors will determine their eligibility to lease an apartment under the affordable housing program. WCO maintains the following LIHTC properties:
